KILT Family Fun Day Event: A Celebration of Unity in Knysna

The annual KILT Family Fun Day Event 2023 is just around the corner!

And we’re excited to welcome everyone to this remarkable event. Mark your calendars for November 11th and join us at the Knysna High Sports Fields for a day filled with fun, entertainment, and a deep sense of community spirit. This day holds great significance as it unites us in support of KILT’s mission – to provide quality education and the opportunity for every child in Knysna to dream.

A Thrilling Soccer Tournament for All Ages

One of the highlights of the day is a thrilling 7-a-side soccer tournament that promises to get hearts pounding. Young soccer talents from nearly every school in Knysna, aged between 10 and 13, will represent their schools in a round-robin-style knockout tournament designed for fun and laughter, emphasizing the joy of participation over winning or losing! Every child will be presented with a KILT soccer kit, a special gift to play in and treasure as their very own.

But that’s not all. Several Knysna businesses have eagerly joined in on the fun too, fielding adult teams who are looking forward to shedding their work attire for a few hours, to kick a ball around and show off their dribbling skills.

They can enjoy a treasure trove of activities, including giant jumping castles, fabulous face painting, creative kids crafts, cookie decorating, and even Lego Robotics demonstrations by our very own KILT teams.
