Get ready, the annual KILT Family Fun-Day is fast approaching, and it’s shaping up to be a cracker of a day. This event is about bringing our entire community together to support KILT’s mission of providing quality education and giving every child in Knysna the chance to dream big.
Kicking Off with a Thrilling Soccer Tournament
LADUUUUMA! The main event that’s sure to get the crowd on their feet is the epic soccer tournament. Youngsters from schools across Knysna, aged 10 to 13, will lace up and represent their schools in an exciting tournament that’s all about the love of the game. It’s not just about scoring goals; it’s about teamwork, camaraderie, and creating lasting memories with friends. Each player will receive a KILT soccer kit to wear with pride and keep as a memento of this special day.
And it’s not just the kids getting in on the action! Local businesses are fielding their own teams for a bit of friendly competition. Imagine your favourite local business owners swapping their suits for shorts and fancy footwork on the pitch. It’s all about community spirit, after all!

We’ve got an electrifying line-up of performances from local legends like Shazza Greef and Queen Justice, along with some surprise acts that will keep you entertained and grooving all day. There will be music, dance, spot prizes and everything in between to keep the gees going strong!
Free Fun for the Little Ones
For the young ones who aren’t playing soccer, there’s plenty to keep them entertained too! Think giant jumping castles, face painting, kids’ crafts, cookie decorating, and more! It’s all free, so bring the whole family and for a day of fun that they won’t forget.
A Feast for Your Taste Buds
The event will feature a variety of local and lekker food stalls with delicious eats from some of Knysna’s favourite vendors. Whether you’re in the mood for a good old boerie roll, a delicious Chip ‘n Dip, or something sweet, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
